Fall

This fall was a fun one!

First we had to move from our place in Provo, but we had no where to go. My dear sister let us stay at her home till we could get into an apartment. Meanwhile Hazen started school, I got some blood test done because I thought something might be wrong with me. Nothing was wrong with me, I was just pregnant. Even though I had taken 4 negative pregnancy tests, each one week apart just before that. To sum up, I got pregnant when I shouldn't have, and then found out that I was pregnant weeks later then I normally would have. Fun huh!? Not that we didn't want to get pregnant, it just seems according to the due date, that our methods of not getting pregnant that had worked so well for so long failed just two weeks before we started trying. Go figure. We finally found a place to live. We moved out of Laura's home, and into our town house where we will be for the next 2 years at least. I then started school. I was taking night classes while Hazen was gone all day working and going to school, needless to say things were stressful. Soon I started to feel sick all of the time, and I had Hazen's birthday to plan and give. Then there was my birthday,

(I made Hazen a laptop cake, but I can't find the pictures any where. Sorry you don't get to see it.)
October being my favorite month of the year, I tried to do a lot of October things. Tessa, Makayla, and I went to a corn maze by my sisters house, with my sister and her family. I couldn't hold Makayla a lot with out feeling sickish so I made her walk a lot, and then Laura held her the rest of the time. Laura didn't know I was pregnant at this time so she thought I was some crazy , and or lazy mother for not holding my own child.
A couple of weeks before Halloween The girls and I went on a pumpkin walk. This is where a bunch of companies get lots of pumpkins and set up their own scene.
This was one of my favorites
at the end of the walk there was a treat and the wooden face things.
Unfortunately Hazen didn't get to go to a lot of these things due to his work schedule.

The week before Halloween we went to the American West Heritage Center here in Logan.
We started out going on a train ride. Tessa loves trains as do I so this was a great way to start our adventure.
Then the girls rode some ponies
Makayla didn't like it so much, but she did like sitting by the fire we did next as well as sliding down a really big slide and going on a little train/wagon ride.
Makayla was getting really cold, so Hazen took her in to the theater to wait for a story time, while I took Tessa to a kids mini hay pirate maze, and to a hay climbing, jumping, sliding thing.
you can't see it, but the jump Tessa did in this pic was quite high.
when Tessa and I got back to the play house, the story time had not started yet so we all went to the corn maze. Tessa had fun being the leader, and getting lost. Tessa went on another wagon/train ride, and I got some freshly popped kettle corn. Next we found a black out maze, that Tessa wasn't too fond of. At this time it was stating to get late. On our way back to the parking lot Tessa rode the ponies again, and we all rode the train again, and took a horse drawn wagon trip around the farm and to the parking lot. It was really fun, so fun Tessa is still asking if we can go do it again.
Then Halloween.
I don't know when exactly but we carved pumpkins. I don't have any pictures of this, but Tessa didn't like the feel of the pumpkin guts, but did enjoy watching the picture on the front get carved. Makayla seemed to like the guts, but had no interest in watching me carve the thing out.
The costumes
Sleeping Beauty
Snow WhitePea Pod

The girls and I went trick or treating with the Merzlocks (My sister and her kids) one of the houses had donuts and hot chocolate.

The kids had lots of fun eating their candy after trick or treating.
Brandon (Laura's husband) does a spook alley every year. This year my mom and dad, Larry and Katie come down to help with the kids and the spook alley. I do believe this years was the grandest.

Finally I started telling every one that I was Pregnant, and could finally wear clothes that fit me. Yeah!! I started feeling a little better, and I got done with my classes just in time to enjoy the 19th week ultrasound were we found out what we are having!
I was blessed with the knowledge of knowing that this baby is a boy way before we even got pregnant.
I have wanted a boy ever since I was old enough to want a child (That's like 12). So me being my crazy self I couldn't let my self believe that I was finally getting my boy, my son!!
I knew with out a doubt, and still got confirmation after confirmation from the Lord that this was really happening.
I still couldn't admit it to anyone, not hardly even to Hazen, that we were having a boy. Then the blessed day come for the ultrasound and there it was, a very unshy baby boy.
Interesting thing (told by Hazen)
The other day my Mom told me about a dream she had. In the dream she was holding an infant boy and wondering who's it might be. My Dad, in the dream, informed her that it was ours. My Mom thought the dream was a little strange since she expected the baby to belong to someone else. She had this dream the day before we called her to tell her we were pregnant and a couple of weeks before the ultrasound confirmed that it was in fact a boy.
Now I thought we had a name all picked out for him, but Hazen decided not to commit just yet, and now we disagree on what we are going to call him almost every day. If we don't agree on a different name then it will end up being the one we had picked before.
Thanksgiving comes next, and it couldn't have come soon enough. I was going crazy being home all the time again. I had no idea how much I needed to be in school, and how much I still need it. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my girls!! But I am a much better mother when I am still being Annette. Anyways thanksgiving was fun.

We went to Hazen's aunt's house. It was foggy going there, but really nice when we got there.
Tessa had lots of fun playing out side with the big kids. Once she came inside she soon become attached to a cousin her age named Page.

Makayla discovered that pie crust
crumbles, and if she crumbles
it on her face she can
blow the crumbs
every where.

Makayla learned how to put shoes on by her self.
This shoe is not her shoe.
Later that week we went to my friend Tamara's house.
Tessa had lots of fun, but Makayla and Abby got in to it a little.

And then it snowed.
