Hazen’s Birthday was on the 20th of September. He said all he wanted was to watch the BYU game. So I got some chips, salsa and drinks for the game and let him watch it. I was going to watch it with him, but the cake I made the night before didn’t work out so I had to make him a new one. I don’t know any of his friends down here, so I didn’t know anyone I could call to come watch the game with him except Andrew and he didn’t end up coming ether. I am not trying to depress you all, but it just didn’t happen the way I had hoped. He did get to do what he wanted, and without the girls around at all. Also Andrew and Naoko did come over for cake and ice cream that evening, so it was all good in the end.
My birthday was on the 5th of October. I wanted to go to Lagoon the Saturday before, but Hazen was sick that whole weekend and we had no one to watch the girls. Trying not to be disappointed, I said let’s got to the Zoo since we can’t go to Lagoon, and then it snowed. Yeah It was not fun at all. Sunday the 5th my birthday was a little better. We watched conference all day and Andrew and Naoko came over that night for cake.

Thank you very, very much Jackie, Katie, Laura and Brandon for a great birthday gift and an awesome day out with my husband. I finally felt a little connected with my husband for the first time in about 7ish months or so.
