Easter Festivities part 1

For the first time in a long time I got a spring break. What a wonderful feeling having nothing to do for a couple of days. Although it would have been nice if it were a little more springy. To start out the week we traveled down to Orem to spend a few days with my parents. We had a chance to see a few people and spruce up the condo a little. I ran into a couple of my former coworkers as well as my old boss, they all informed me that the new owner of Western Heating has a job waiting for me over the summer if I want it. It looks like a pretty good opportunity to put away a little cash so it looks likely that we will accept. After a nice visit we headed up to Pocatello to visit Annette's family and so that she could spend some time helping her friend with wedding prep stuff. I wouldn't say Tessa enjoys long car rides but she does have her ways of staying entertained.

The last weekend of the break was the weekend before Easter, so we decided to do some Easter activities while we were up there and had Tessa's cousins there. We kicked it off with a massive Egg coloring fest.

Followed by an Egg hunt around Grandma's house. Tessa ended up with mostly hard boiled as her older, quicker cousins snatched up most of the candy filled eggs before she could get to them. I don't think it made much of a difference to her though.

Just before we left Hyrum and Cassandra arrived with Charlene in tow. Tessa loves being around her younger cousins (few as they may be).

She is developing such character; it is just a joy to be around her.

(to be continued)

Hey Annette and Hazen! I wanted to leave a comment so that you could see our blog. I also had to say that I love that last picture of Tessa. I love how she is leaning her head on her hand, she looks so mature. I am interested what part 2 of the Easter Festivities will be. I'm excited to have your blog address! It will be a nice way to keep in touch. Thanks for giving it to me Annette.
