Christmas Part I
After taking my last final on the 14th, I found myself with more time off than I had experienced in about 12 years. School doesn't start
again until the 7th of January, making the break about three weeks. We decided with all that time off to split time between Orem and Pocatello, and having the better shopping we decided on Orem first. It was great to spend time with my family. Spencer and Kristol were able to come down a couple of nights. Jacob is an adorable little guy and Tessa loves hanging out with him. Andrew and Naoko made it down towards the end of our stay, and late Saturday night -- Sunday morning rather -- Josh
and Teresa rolled in after the long drive from Indiana. We had an awesome turkey dinner on Sunday, after which there was plenty of catching up to do. Monday late morning we started out towards Pocatello. The weather was pretty bad but we did leave just early enough to miss the worst of it. Passing through Salt Lake we stopped to see Hyrum and Cassandra. They weren't able to make it up to Poky for Christmas due to her being due
really soon. Not soon enough for her. The stay in Orem was very relaxing. It is nice to have a little help with Tessa, and the occasional sleep in.
